The best way to make the world a better place is to get people who want to make a difference into a position where they can make their biggest impact.

This also has a side effect of living a life full of meaning, contentment, and joy.

Unfortunately, many of these people don’t get the career advice they need to make the kind of impact they want to make. Instead, they struggle with burn-out, stress, and living paycheck to paycheck and a sense of not living up to their potential.

With an undergraduate degree in international studies, a master’s in social work, and a doctorate in management, I have worked as an organization development facilitator, project manager, program director, business development specialist, consultant, and recruiter. Most of my career has centered around international development and non-profit work.

It has always been important for me to “be the change I wanted to see in the world” and I have spent years aligning my work with my values. However, it has only since I have fully embraced who I am and built a life that truly fits me that I’ve been able to have a lasting impact on people’s lives.

I’ve been fortunate enough to identify the type of work that truly brings me joy. I love working with people and organizations to identify their passion and bring that into reality. As a career strategist, I’m able to guide people through a “career design” process to ensure that job-seekers are setting themselves up for work they love and a life full of meaning. I then turned the career design process into a gamified online career coach app, My Career Design Studio™.

Whether I was mentoring young professionals or running a non-profit board meeting, whenever I was collaborating with passionate and dedicated people, I was inspired. With career development, I am realizing my dream by helping others to realize theirs. And with My Career Design Studio™ I can provide evidence-based career coaching to those who can’t afford working one-on-one with a coach.

As a career development facilitator, I guide the process of self-awareness so that my clients work with their personalities and strengths in order to make the largest possible impact, both in their work and in the world.
