August 15, 2017LinkedIn Tip: How to Send InMail through Groups
LinkedIn is one of my favorite sites to help people who are designing their future careers. With so many people and organizations listed in one place, you can search for almost any dream job or company and find a wealth of information. I encourage my clients search for people that are doing the type of work you want to do or working for the organizations where you may want to work.
Although LinkedIn wants you to pay for their services and allows you to InMail anyone if you pay for Premium, there is a nifty work-around if you are a member of the same LinkedIn group. The tutorial below takes you through the process, step-by-step.
NOTE: Not everyone responds to LinkedIn’s mail system, so if you really want to talk to someone and they aren’t being responsive, google their name in quotes and the word “email.” Sometimes that gets you what you need. The best way to connect with someone is through a mutual connection. LinkedIn and Google searches are there for you when your current network comes up short.
